JULIEN LANDROT, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Julien Landrot brings international strategic leadership to Rob Carr, gained through an extensive 24-year engineering and business career with Soletanche Bachy and its subsidiaries across Europe and Asia.
Prior to his arrival in Australia to take up his current role of Oceania Area Manager for Soletanche Bachy, Julien was the Managing Director of Bachy Soletanche Hong Kong and Macau.
As Chairman of Rob Carr, Julien will enable Rob Carr to leverage expertise and opportunities through the group’s far-reaching network of subsidiaries. Julien holds an Engineering degree from Ecole Speciale des Travaux Public in Paris, as well as a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.
DAMIEN MAITRE, MANAGING DIRECTOR
With more than 15 years’ water and utilities infrastructure experience gained in Europe and South America, Damien brings global expertise to enhance Rob Carr’s strong offering for the Australian market.
In his most recent roles as Subsidiary Deputy Manager for Soletanche Freyssinet (VINCI Construction subsidiary) and Country Manager for the Peru operations of SADE CGTH (a Veolia Water subsidiary), Damien successfully undertook international business development, management of large water and sanitation public infrastructure projects as well as private projects for the resources sector. He holds a Master of Science from the Imperial College in the United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science from France’s leading engineering school Ecole Polytechnique.
ANGELO SOUMBOULIDIS, GENERAL MANAGER
Angelo leads business development, pre-contracts and legal commercial activities across Rob Carr’s national operations. With degree qualifications in engineering and commerce coupled with a strong site-based background in design, planning, construction and management of underground structures, tunnels, water and wastewater infrastructure, he has facilitated the growth of the business through the delivery of high value projects undertaken Australia-wide.
Since joining Rob Carr in 2003, Angelo has overseen several critical phases of the business operations and in his role offers day-to-day support to the Managing Director.
BRETT EVERARD, OPERATIONS MANAGER - EAST
As the Operations Manager for Rob Carr projects in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, Brett has a track record in the delivery of gas, water, sewer and drainage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
During the past 13 years, Brett has gained invaluable skills and experience as a result of direct involvement with numerous large scale trenchless projects. As either a Project Manager or Construction Manager, Brett has managed several projects including conventional open trench excavation, tunnelling, deep shaft excavation, construction of concrete structures and caissons as well as detailed mechanical and electrical work for water and wastewater infrastructure.
BARRY CROWLEY, OPERATIONS MANAGER - WEST
Barry has managed Rob Carr operations in Western Australia for over a decade. Under Barry’s leadership, the team has installed hundreds of kilometres of gravity, pressure and vacuum main sewers, eight pump stations and retention tanks on various infill sewerage projects, and delivered microtunnelling projects direct to the Water Corporation and private contracting firms, and constructed numerous civil structures (including deep shafts and concrete caissons).
A key component of Barry’s role is client and stakeholder interface to ensure their needs are met, in order to ensure the smooth delivery of each project.
